The problem
DEFRA was running criminal prosecution casework across three separate, disconnected but expensive systems, adding risk, slowing investigations, and making it almost impossible to see across cases.
They needed a working replacement quickly, on a single platform that could keep growing to handle all types of investigations including more serious and complex crime.

We replaced the three old systems with a single modern platform and got a working version live within nine months. The result was one place to run prosecution casework. This was adopted across several different teams, giving the client the ability to automate and use AI to spot patterns of environmental crime.
